Locust Grove
Locust Grove, a c.1792 Georgian mansion built by William and Lucy Clark Croghan, is a symbol of early Kentucky architecture and history. Hosting notable figures like Presidents James Monroe and Andrew Jackson, John James Audubon, Cassius Marcellus Clay, and Lewis and Clark, the property holds immense historical significance. Recognized as a National Historic Landmark and occupying 55 acres of scenic land, Locust Grove provides insight into Kentucky's rich heritage and craftsmanship.
